About the role

We are an established and busy automotive service provider located in the heart of Surrey Hills, Melbourne. We are seeking a skilled, dedicated, and experienced Motor Mechanic / European Vehicle Specialist to join our professional workshop team. You will perform advanced mechanical diagnostics, routine logbook servicing, and complex electronic troubleshooting specifically on European vehicle makes including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche.

Key responsibilities

- Perform advanced mechanical diagnostics, routine logbook servicing, and complex electronic troubleshooting specifically on European vehicle makes (including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche)

- Diagnose, repair, and overhaul engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and braking systems to strict manufacturer standards

- Utilize specialized European diagnostic scan tools, software, and equipment for ECU coding, module programming, and system resets

- Conduct comprehensive repairs and component overhauls on engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking systems to strict manufacturer specifications





- Perform thorough safety inspections and rigorous road testing to ensure the highest standard of repair quality

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment while keeping accurate service and repair documentation

About you

- Hold an AQF Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent recognized international trade qualification

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic, with proven, extensive experience working on European automotive brands and their advanced electronic architectures

- Excellent cross-cultural communication and customer relations skills

- Solid attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to workplace health and safety standards
