Home Care Support Worker

Are you passionate about supporting older people to live independently in their own homes? Do you enjoy helping others and making a positive difference in your local community?

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is seeking compassionate, reliable and motivated Home Care Support Workers (Unqualified) to join our growing Home Care team.

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will travel between consumers' homes providing practical support and companionship that enables people to maintain their independence, wellbeing and connection to the community.

The successful applicants will:

- Experience in home care, cleaning, hospitality, customer service, community services, house maintenance or a similar role

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A genuine commitment to delivering person-centred care and support

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- The ability to read, understand and follow support plans

- Respect for diversity, confidentiality and consumer choice

- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

You will be required to have:

- Current First Aid Certificate

- Current Driver's License

- Current Police Check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester which is the gateway to the mighty Murray River region and close to the regional centres of Echuca, Bendigo and Shepparton.

We are an integrated rural health service, providing a broad range of acute, residential aged care, preventative and primary health programs to a population of approximately 8,600 people in the Campaspe and Bendigo Shires.
