SEEK Salary: SCHADS Level 4.1 - $94,124.78 [pro rata] (plus super)

Role Purpose

As a Community Financial Inclusion Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping people on low incomes access Good Money’s community finance products, including No Interest Loans. You will assess individual needs, support customers with budgeting and loan applications, provide appropriate referrals, and deliver respectful, high-quality service. You will also contribute to community engagement and the smooth day-to-day operation of the Good Money site.

Key Responsibilities

· Welcome customers and guide them through available Good Money community finance options.

· Respond to enquiries, assess eligibility and identify appropriate services, information or referrals.

· Support customers with loan applications, including interviews, budgeting and checking documentation.

· Provide respectful and qualified support to customers from diverse backgrounds with complex needs.

· Manage enquiries relating to existing loans and follow up on missed repayments when required.

· Build community connections and partnerships to increase awareness of Good Money services.

· Maintain accurate customer records, complete administrative tasks and contribute to achieving site targets.

About you

· Qualifications: Certificate or Diploma in Community Services, Financial Literacy Education Skillset,



or equivalent experience in community services or loan provision.

· Experience: Experience supporting customers with complex needs, assessing individual circumstances, preparing budgets and matching customers with appropriate services and referrals.

· Mandatory Requirements: A current Employee Working with Children Check, satisfactory National Police Check and proof of the right to work in Australia.

· Desirable Skills: Experience engaging with communities and organisations to build effective partnerships, along with confidence using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and customer databases.

· Attributes: Solid communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, adaptability and the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds while delivering respectful, customer-focused support
