Our client is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with Emergency Department experience for rural hospital contracts across Kingaroy and Warwick, Queensland.
Both facilities provide essential emergency and acute care services to their surrounding rural communities, offering nurses the opportunity to work across a broad range of presentations in a rural hospital setting.
What You Will Be Doing
- Providing high-quality nursing care within the Emergency Department
- Assessing and managing a broad range of emergency presentations
- Undertaking triage and prioritising patient care
- Responding to clinical emergencies and deteriorating patients
- Working collaboratively with medical, nursing and multidisciplinary teams
- Supporting the delivery of safe and effective patient care within a rural hospital workplace
- Completing clinical documentation and maintaining professional standards
What You Will Need
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Recent Emergency Department experience
- Triage competency
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Previous rural or remote nursing experience
- Ability to work effectively in a rural emergency environment
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
