Manuka Occasional Child Care Association (MOCCA) is a community-based, not-for-profit early childhood education and care service in Canberra. We have a strong reputation for quality practice and for creating a warm, inclusive and engaging environment for children, families and educators.

About the role

As an educator at MOCCA, you will be part of a collaborative team committed to providing high-quality education and care.

You will have opportunities to contribute to:

- Play-based learning and intentional teaching

- Children's social and individual learning and development

- Planning and implementing meaningful curriculum experiences

- Creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments

- Embedding children's voices and perspectives into the curriculum

- Reflective practice and critical reflection

- Building strong partnerships with children, families and colleagues

- Embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives respectfully throughout the curriculum

- Contributing to a positive, inclusive and child-safe culture

The position is full time (38 hours per week).

Our operating hours are 8:00am-5:30pm.

A successful candidate will hold:

- Bachelor of Education (ECE).

- Working with Vulnerable People Registration (ACT).

- First Aid qualifications.

- National Child Safety Certificate

- Reliable and professional work ethic; and

- Experience working with children from birth to school age.

Qualifications and experience in accordance with the relevant award and regulatory requirements are essential.
