The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented Apprentice Welder to join our Woodville North plant.
This full-time, permanent position offers an immediate start and the chance to work on a diverse range of projects in the design, manufacture and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.

Key responsibilities

- Assist in fabrication and weld hydraulic cylinders to Australian standards

- Assist to interpret engineering drawings and follow instructions with precision

- Collaborate effectively with the Welding Supervisor, Operations Manager, and workshop team

- Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship

- Assist to create and compile accurate and concise service reports

- Assist the Hydraulic technicians as directed

- Ensure workshop is kept neat and tidy





- Ensure a safe working workplace and report any safety incidents or concerns to the Safety Manager

- Ensure compliance with the relevant OH&S; requirements

- Contribute to the participative arrangements and communication strategies for managing OH&S; risks in the workplace

About you:

- Progression and eagerness to work towards a trade qualification

- Mechanical aptitude

- Ability to comply with company procedures and policies

- Reliability, honesty and integrity in your approach to your work

- Team player attitude, sharing information and willingly assisting others to achieve common objectives

- Good customer service skills
