Our client, a leading Company is looking for a Business Analyst to work with cutting-edge technologies leading to a large Transformation Program across Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth & Melbourne.

The purpose of this role is to create business efficiencies through developing business intelligence solutions using the MS PowerPivot/BI platforms, Azure Cloud Solutions and or Amazon Web Services.

This position will be heavily involved in the analysis and improvement (design and implementation) of best reporting standards and be a key project resource particularly around the drive to improve reporting and extracting insights across the business.

While designing, building and documenting automated reports using standard Microsoft tools (SSRS), the Business Intelligence Solutions Architect will also identify trends in data to improve service levels while exposure to Banking & Financial Services environment are desirable

This role will require great interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder expectations and influence management.
The position forms part of a group of operating system ‘Super Users’ in the business.

Experience: 4 + years

Key Responsibilities:

- Undertake, and/or assist with, project work as directed by the ITM, including:

- Interacting with individual business units to translate complex departmental reporting or data analysis requirements into recommendations for appropriate solution architectures.

- Working with individual business units to manage, build and deliver successful business intelligence and analytics project solutions.

- Packaging best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies and published assets.

- Understanding internal customer needs and help shape data and reporting architecture. Be a champion of successful delivery.

- Maintaining report quality through proactively dealing with potential issues.

- Build and deliver consistent,



accurate reports that highlight KPI’s and key business health metrics

- Resolving data quality and integrity issues

- Fulfil the role of “Super User” within the broader team of Super Users in the company

Key Job Knowledge & Skills

- Expert solutions architect competency in MS Excel

- Advanced solutions architect competency in MS Power Pivot and MS Power Query (Get & Transform) and MS Power BI, SSRS.

* Experience managing multiple dependencies in a dynamic and collaborative environment

· Experience with complex programs, network routers/ switches, data migration, process modeling (using Aris) and a solid grasp of the value brought by an experienced and skilled Business Analyst to a Project is highly desirable.

· Basic understanding and ability to analyze data from various tools such as Restful APIs, Micro-services, Oracle/SQL Databases, Web and Mobile Native technologies, Debugging and Monitoring tools.

· A good understanding of financial services products, identity management and security controls

- Experience with SQL Server development, Maintaining and Developing ETL packages, SSIS, data warehouses, and predictive analytics.

- An understanding of data mining practices and big data reporting tools

- Proficiency in analyzing complex datasets

- Robust mathematical aptitude and reasoning skills

- Well-developed problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail.

- Able to work independently as well as within a team.

- Able to work on multiple projects at the same time.

- Able to work to strict deadlines

- Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications required: Engineering Graduate or a Post Graduate in Computer Science or Electronics and Communications Engineering; Bachelor's Degree in Information Technologies or Masters in Computer Applications and or similar is strongly preferred

Annual Salary: $100K and above + Superannuation per year
