Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking physically fit and dependable Farm Hands to assist with our traditional manual sugar cane harvesting operation in Woongoolba. This role involves manual labour, including harvesting, processing, and preparing our sugar cane product for transport.

Key Responsibilities

- Manual Harvesting: Safely cut sugar cane by hand using specified hand tools (machetes/cane knives).
- Cleaning & Processing: Strip, trim, and clean harvested cane to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Bundling & Packaging: Accurately weigh and secure the processed cane into accurate 10-kilogram bundles.
- Loading & Logistics: Assist in moving, loading,



and securely stacking the 10kg bundles onto and upto 1000kg boxes for transport.

Requirements & Capabilities

- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform repetitive, manual labour in an outdoor farm environment.
- Weather Resilience: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, humidity, and wet weather with in reason).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to consistently bundle and tie cane accurately to the required 10kg weight specification.
- Team Player: Strong cooperative work ethic to work smoothly within upto 12 person crew.
