About the role:

- Run complex employment and workplace matters from start to finish.
- Lead Fair Work Commission proceedings and employment litigation.
- Advise on general protections and adverse action claims.
- Act on restraint of trade and confidential information disputes.
- Manage sensitive executive appointments, exits and negotiated departures.




- Advise on complex terminations and workplace disputes.
- Provide strategic employment advice on commercially and reputationally sensitive matters.
- Act as the primary adviser to boards, business owners, HR leaders and senior executives.
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers while remaining hands-on in significant matters.

The ideal candidate:

- Special Counsel with substantial experience in employment law
- Have strong experience running complex employment disputes and advisory matters
- Be comfortable acting as the primary adviser to sophisticated clients
- Have the confidence to make strategic calls and lead matters independently
- Enjoy mentoring and developing junior lawyers
- Be commercially minded and interested in contributing to the growth of a practice
