At DanCar Automotives, our workshop utilises state of the art tools and equipment. We are committed to build a workshop to meet our customers’ satisfaction and trust. We are currently seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic (General) to join our team. Applicants must have a relevant trade qualification and at least 2 years' post-qualification experience as a Mechanic. Duties will include:

- Perform scheduled vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications
n
- Drain and replace engine oil and install new oil filters
n
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle safety and condition inspections
n
- Inspect and test vehicle lighting systems
n
- Check windscreen wiper operation and replace/report worn wiper blades as required
n




- Inspect brake systems, including brake fluid, pads, rotors and handbrake operation
n
- Pressure test cooling systems and assess coolant condition
n
- Identify and report engine bay oil leaks
n
- Inspect steering, suspension and bush components for wear or damage
n
- Check driveline oil condition
n
- Inspect and assess drive belts for wear and correct operation
n
- Inspect tyres for tread depth, condition and correct tyre pressures
n
- Test battery condition, charging system and starting system performance
n
- Reset vehicle service reminders following completed servicing
n
- Identify faults and recommend any additional repairs or maintenance required to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
n

A salary of $78,000 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidate. Sponsorship may be available to the right candidate.
