This role offers an excellent chance to develop your surgical skills within a supportive rural health service.
Key responsibilities
- Supportive Consultant-led team with excellent supervision and teaching.
- Leadership opportunities mentoring Interns and Hospital Medical Officers.
- Working as part of a team of Consultant Surgeons, Registrars and junior medical staff, you will gain broad experience across acute surgical admissions, inpatient management, perioperative care, theatre and outpatient services.
- You will benefit from a high level of clinical responsibility, dedicated supervision and regular education opportunities while contributing to the delivery of high-quality surgical care.
What you need
- Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent).
- General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Minimum three years postgraduate clinical experience.
