Remuneration: $121,584.42 - $125,516.07 per Annum + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Location: Cardiac Intervention Unit, Liverpool Hospital

Join our dynamic Cardiac Interventional Unit and play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging for life‑saving cardiac procedures. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technology and advanced interventional techniques in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

- Ensure radiation safety, equipment compliance, and workflow efficiency.
- Perform specialised imaging and haemodynamic monitoring in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Support complex cardiac interventions using advanced tools (IVUS, OCT, iFR/FFR, atherectomy, mechanical circulatory support, etc).
- Provide technical support during procedures and mentor junior staff.

Are You the Right Fit?

You are a patient‑focused and adaptable Medical Radiation Scientist with strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety and a passion for supporting complex cardiac procedures in a collaborative Cath Lab environment.

- Current AHPRA registration, NSW EPA Radiation User Licence and a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science.
- Demonstrated experience in angiography/interventional cardiology, including IVUS, OCT and iFR.
- Excellent communication, organisational and active listening skills,



with strong attention to detail.
- Committed to patient safety and quality care, with the flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and on‑call shifts.

Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Current AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Medical Radiation Practitioner Diagnostic Radiography. Must hold a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science or equivalent as well as a valid NSW EPA Radiation User Licence.
- Clinical Experience: Proven experience in Interventional medical imaging with expertise in cardiac imaging or interventional radiology.
- Demonstrated service delivery experience and effective prioritisation and organisation of workload in a complex clinical setting

Demonstrated high level interpersonal communication and leadership skills applied to a patient environment as well as vendor relationships.
