An exciting opportunity has become available for a Project Engineer to join our Projects team and help deliver a diverse portfolio of airfield infrastructure projects across the QAL network. Working closely with the Engineering Manager - Airfield Infrastructure, you'll contribute to the planning, procurement, delivery and commercial management of projects that support safe and efficient airport operations.

What you'll be doing n

n
- Support airfield infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
n
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and key stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
n
- Assist with project planning, procurement, contract administration and commercial management.
n
- Monitor project progress, risks, quality and reporting requirements.
n
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across operational, technical and regulatory environments.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement and project governance.

About you n

You are a proactive engineering professional with strong project coordination skills, sound technical judgement and the ability to build effective relationships in a complex operational environment.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
n
- Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.
n
- Exposure to contractor management, contract administration and project controls.
n
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and prioritisation skills.
n
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
n

Additional information n

The successful candidate will need to comply with QAL's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan, including pre-employment testing, and be able to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
