About the Program

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program – February 2027. Commencing 2nd February 2027, the fixed‑term 52‑week (0.84FTE) part‑time contract will run for 12 months (maximum) until February 2028. The program offers sub‑acute specialties: Rehabilitation; Medical and Chronic Pain Management Service; Palliative Care and Geriatric Medical Services. For those interested in acute care, positions are available at the Northside Facility. A transition programme into Perioperative Nursing is available after completion of the graduate year.

What works for us

- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Enrolled Nurse prior to program commencement
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Well‑developed skills in delivering compassionate, patient‑centred care
- Recent clinical placement experience in an acute hospital setting
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts across a 7‑day week, including early, late and night shifts (nights on wards only)

Remuneration

The position of Graduate Enrolled Nurse, Year1, offers a base remuneration of $41.38 hourly plus superannuation, shift penalties and allowances.
