We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team at our Darlinghurst facility and contribute to delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a specialised and rewarding environment.

About the Role

n

This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your perioperative nursing expertise within our accredited day surgery facility while expanding your knowledge in the highly specialised field of dermatology.

n

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, patient-centred care to individuals undergoing a wide range of dermatological surgical procedures.

n

Whilst we are looking for a full-time (4 x 9.5hour shifts per week) nurse, we are also open to applications from those looking for part-time hours.

n

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care across the patient journey
n
- Perform duties in one or more perioperative areas, including scrub/scout, anaesthetics and recovery
n
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care across the patient journey

- Support the smooth operation of theatre lists and procedural clinics
n
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety and quality standards

- Participate in ongoing education, training and professional development activities

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
n
- Minimum three years' post-registration nursing experience
n
- Demonstrated perioperative nursing experience in areas such as Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics and/or Recovery
n
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
n
- Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail
n
- A commitment to delivering outstanding patient care
n
- An interest in dermatology and skin cancer surgery
n

Location

Our Darlinghurst facility is conveniently located close to public transport in the heart of Sydney. Operating hours are between 7:00am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
