Reliant Business Insurance is a Mornington VIC based insurance brokerage helping small businesses across Australia get the right cover, with a particular focus on the trades industry. We take a straightforward, personal approach and our clients get advice they can actually understand, including real support when it matters most: at renewal, and at claim time.

The Role

We're looking for an Insurance Broking Assistant to support our brokers with the day-to-day administration that keeps our clients properly covered. It's a hands-on role, well suited to someone who enjoys detail-focused work and wants to build a career in insurance broking.

Key Responsibilities

- Process new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations
- Claims management, including claim lodgement, follow-up, and client communications.
- Prepare certificates of currency, policy schedules and renewal documentation
- Liaise with insurers and underwriters to obtain quotes and finalise policy details
- Maintain accurate client records in our broking system
- Respond to client enquiries regarding policy coverage and documentation




- Support our brokers with general administrative tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience in insurance, financial services or general administration (well regarded but not essential)
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification in General Insurance, or willingness to obtain one
- Comfortable learning new software and broking platforms
