Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HRLeadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensiveHR strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.
- Partner with the executive team todrive business success through effective people management.
OrganizationalDevelopment:
- Lead initiatives to build a strongorganizational culture that promotes employee engagement, productivity,and satisfaction.
- Implement programs that supportorganizational change and development.
TalentAcquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment process toattract, hire, and retain top talent.
- Develop and implement effectiveonboarding programs to ensure recent hires are successfully integrated.
PerformanceManagement:
- Establish and manage performancemanagement systems to drive high performance and employee growth.
- Provide guidance and support tomanagers on performance-related issues and development plans.
Compensationand Benefits:
- Develop competitive compensation andbenefits programs that align with market standards and company goals.
- Ensure compliance with local laborlaws and regulations.
EmployeeRelations:
- Act as a trusted advisor toemployees and management on HR-related issues.
- Address and resolve employeeconcerns and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
HR Policy andCompliance:
- Develop, update, and enforce HRpolicies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to maintainadherence to HR standards and best practices.
Diversity andInclusion:
- Promote diversity and inclusioninitiatives to create a welcoming and equitable workplace.
- Implement programs that support adiverse and inclusive workforce.
Training andDevelopment:
- Identify training needs and developprograms to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Support leadership developmentinitiatives to build management capabilities.
HR Analyticsand Reporting:
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics toinform decision-making and improve HR processes.
- Prepare and present HR reports tothe executive team.
Health andSafety:
- Ensure the health and safety of allemployees by implementing and maintaining safety programs.
- Foster a culture of safety andwell-being within the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HumanResources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degreepreferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience ina senior HR role, preferably within the events or entertainment industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR bestpractices, labor laws, and regulations in Australia.
- Proven experience in strategic HRleadership and organizational development.
- Excellent communication,interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in English; additionallanguages are a plus.
- Proficiency in HR software andMicrosoft Office Suite.
