About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paramedic, Emergency Department Nurse, ANUM, Clinical Coordinator, or healthcare leader looking to take the next step in their career.

As the Urgent Care Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading daily clinic operations, supporting and developing your team, and ensuring exceptional patient experiences. You'll work closely with clinicians, nurses, practice staff, hospitals, GPs and community stakeholders while helping drive service excellence and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the day‑to‑day operations of a busy Urgent Care Clinic
- Oversee workforce planning, rostering, recruitment and onboarding
- Support staff development through coaching,



training and performance management
- Drive patient flow, operational efficiency and service excellence
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, quality and accreditation standards
- Manage stock, equipment, facilities and site operations
- Collaborate with hospitals, GPs and community stakeholders
- Foster a positive, high‑performing and patient‑focused team culture
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and service growth

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong clinical expertise with a passion for leadership.

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Urgent Care, Emergency, Primary Care, Paramedicine or a similar clinical setting
- Previous leadership, supervisory or coordination experience
- Strong operational, organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A patient-first mindset and commitment to service excellence
- A proactive approach to improving systems, processes and patient outcomes
