In this role, you will plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate Physiotherapy services within the specialty area, utilising advanced clinical practice skills to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

Key responsibilities

- You will play a key role in promoting patient safety and quality improvement initiatives while working collaboratively with patients, families and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will provide clinical leadership and support to Physiotherapy and support staff, assisting with supervision, coordination of duties and performance management within the clinical area.




- You will also contribute to service development and continuous improvement activities to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and evidence-based care.

What you need

- The successful applicant will demonstrate advanced clinical expertise, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to skilled practice in accordance with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct, Registration Standards, and South Metropolitan Health Service policies and guidelines.
- Experience in hospital or community based allied health teams as a Senior Physiotherapist.
