You’ll provide high-quality, patient-centred care while working collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists and the broader multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in the Scrub/Scout role.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to quality improvement, audits, safety initiatives and service development within the theatre setting.
What you need
- Undertake planned specialty rotations throughout the theatre suite.
- Participate in several targeted study and education days.
- Build specialist perioperative nursing knowledge and skills.
