Corrimal Healthcare Centre is a busy, established general practice in Corrimal, NSW, currently operating with four full-time GPs and a GP registrar. The successful applicant will work alongside experienced GPs and receive clinical support and supervision, with access to practice nursing, reception and allied health services. VR and Non-VR General Practitioners are encouraged to apply. Doctors requiring Level 1 supervision will be supported.

Key responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive general practice consultations for acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide chronic disease management, preventive healthcare and health promotion.
- Undertake appropriate referrals, investigations and follow-up care.
- Provide emergency assessment and initial management where required.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
- Work collaboratively with other GPs,



practice nurses and allied health professionals.
- Participate in clinical case reviews, quality improvement activities and continuing professional development.
- Undertake home visits where clinically appropriate.

About you

- Medical degree recognised in Australia.
- Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration.
- Sound clinical assessment, diagnostic and management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to patient-centred care, professional standards and continuing education.
