Senior Sales Consultant – Showroom & Renovations

$85,000 – $95,000 per year plus superannuation

We are a family-run bathroom and wet area renovation specialist based in Rockingham, looking for a Senior Sales Consultant to guide our clients through their renovation project, from initial quote, to product selection, and beyond.

We have been renovating bathrooms across Rockingham and surrounds for more than 17 years.

As we enter our next stage of growth, we are investing in our team, our systems and the overall client experience. This is a senior role for someone who knows sales well and wants real ownership of it, with room to shape how the showroom runs as we build.

About the role

A bathroom renovation is a big decision, and we take our time to help our clients get it right. Your job will be guiding them through that journey with confidence and care, from their initial quote and product selections onwards.

Alongside renovation sales, you'll help us grow the commercial performance of our showroom, identifying opportunities across product ranging while making sure our customers receive stand out value. We're looking for someone who notices opportunities, asks good questions and helps us improve the way we sell.

This is a hands‑on senior sales role with clear expectations around conversion, follow‑up, sales results and CRM discipline, together with genuine scope to improve how we do things. This will include:

- Delivering exceptional customer service over the phone,



via email and to our walk‑in customers;
- Converting walk‑in and supply‑only customers, especially comparison shoppers evaluating The Project People against big‑box competitors;
- Looking for genuine opportunities to add value for the client through complementary products
- Scheduling appointments from initial site measures to in‑store consultations;
- Calling leads and following up with prospects at every stage of the renovation process, from initial enquiry, to job completion.
- Assisting our clients through the process of product selection;
- Building accurate, detailed product quotes from those selections

Once a renovation begins, our project manager and general manager take care of scheduling the trades and running the build.

Your focus stays where you are strongest, on the client and the sale, keeping every interaction logged in our CRM and making sure anything that needs actioning reaches the right person on the team.

Who we are looking for

- We are looking for someone experienced in considered, high‑value customer decisions. Whether that's bathrooms, kitchens, cabinetry, flooring, furniture, solar or similar. We also welcome people from new‑home pre‑start,



selections or client liaison roles who combine strong customer skills with commercial judgement.
- The confidence to run a sale end to end, from first conversation to closing the work;
- A high level of attention to detail, particularly with quoting, pricing and product specifications;
- Warm, assertive people skills, and no hesitation picking up the phone, chasing leads or asking for answers
- Robust computer literacy across the internet and general digital systems

Hours, pay and what we offer

- Full‑time, based at our Rockingham showroom, with opportunity for responsibility to grow with results;
- $85,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience;
- Performance‑based commission in addition to base salary.
