The role involves supporting excellent patient outcomes, teaching and mentoring medical students and junior clinicians, and contributing to clinical audit, quality improvement, patient safety, research, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

- In this dynamic role, you will assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of medical presentations, working closely with Emergency Departments, GPs and community services.
- You will play a key role in ensuring timely patient reviews, explicit clinical decision-making and effective discharge planning, while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the medical ward and participating in an on-call roster.
- As a Senior Clinician, you will also deliver clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Please note: this role is unable to support practitioners requiring peer supervision.
