Role Description

The Store Leader role at OZ Design is a full time, on-site position based in the Greater Brisbane Area. In this role, the Store Leader oversees daily store operations, ensures excellent customer service, and drives retail sales performance. Responsibilities include leading and coaching team members, managing store presentation and merchandising, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. The Store Leader monitors stock levels, supports inventory processes, and helps implement in-store promotions and visual standards.



This role also involves onboarding and training team members, handling customer inquiries and escalations, and contributing to a positive, collaborative store culture aligned with OZ Design’s brand values.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage customers and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Customer service and retail sales skills, with experience in creating positive shopping experiences and meeting sales targets.
- Organization and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate store activities and maintain operational efficiency.
- Training and coaching skills, including experience supporting development of team members in a retail environment.
- Previous experience in furniture, homewares, or lifestyle retail is highly regarded.
- Comfort with basic point-of-sale systems and retail processes (cash handling, stock management, opening/closing procedures).
- Ability to lead, develop & motivate a Team to succeed. Experience in coaching and development of Team is recommended.
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays as required.
