Our client is a rapidly scaling national law firm is seeking a commercially sharp Legal Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth, deepen client relationships and expand market presence across enterprise, government and major project environments. This role is ideal for someone with robust Legal Business Development experience, who thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment and wants to step into a more strategic, high‑visibility position.

About the role:

- Develop and nurture client relationships across enterprise, government, property, construction, engineering and utility industries
- Work with individual Partners to help advise and create BD and Client Management strategy for their areas
- Drive new business pipelines, from opportunity identification through to conversion
- Lead proposals, capability statements, pitch presentations and commercial negotiations
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and market positioning
- Represent the organisation at industry events, briefings and stakeholder forums
- Monitor market trends,



competitor activity and emerging commercial pathways
- Work closely with senior leadership to support national growth strategies
- Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives and commercial projects
- Mentor and assist managing members of the greater BD/Marketing/Design/Brand/Communications team

About you:

- 7+ years’ experience in Legal Business Development or Client Relationship Management
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to articulate complex solutions clearly
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills with polished communication
- Proven ability to manage pipelines, convert opportunities and drive revenue outcomes
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in fast‑moving environments
- Team‑oriented, collaborative and able to build strong internal and external relationships
- You are agile, embrace change and thrive being busy!
