Key responsibilities

- You will apply contemporary technical expertise to develop practical and cutting-edge solutions within a sensitive operational environment.
- Reporting to the Manager, Technical Surveillance, the Technical Surveillance Officer supports complex IBAC investigations through the planning, deployment and operation of specialist technical surveillance capabilities.
- Plan, deploy and operate specialist technical surveillance capabilities to support complex investigations.
- Develop fit-for-purpose operational plans and strategies that meet investigative requirements, legislation, policies and procedures.

What you need

- Demonstrated experience with technologies such as the Internet of Things, internet protocols, audio, radio frequency, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgement and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Experience in convert methods of entry is highly desirable.
