The Opportunity
As part of the Distribution team within the Real Estate Credit division of La Trobe Financial, you will report into the State Manager and will work with our Senior Manager Client Partnerships to sell one of the broadest mortgage product suites available in today’s market. You will complete this from a deskbound environment.
Key elements of this role will be to provide exceptional customer service and manage the relationship with our existing brokers and establish new relationships introduced through accredited national aggregator groups.
This is a great opportunity for an individual who has the drive to go beyond their sales targets with ambitions to move into a BDM level position in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and grow new and existing broker relationships
- Administration tasks including BDM relief when they are attending events or on leave
- Attend monthly Professional Development Days
- Managing a steady flow of inbound calls and emails from new and existing brokers
- Workshop transactions with Credit teams
- Mange home loan applications from origination to settlement
About You
The successful applicant will have experience in a financial services environment, ideally within a non-bank.
Additional skills and experience required include:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop rapport and build relationships
- Ability to demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Passionate about sales and driving results
- Are an enthusiastic and energetic individual
- Ability to remain calm and a team player during times of high pressure
- Be proactive in your approach
