Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.

Key responsibilities

- Fulfil the role of Head of the English Faculty.
- Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and school priorities.
- Develop and oversee implementation of whole school assessment schedule, which includes PAT assessments.
- Ensuring the Ararat College Teaching and Learning Model and State-Wide Reporting Levels are embedded through a documented curriculum.

- Leading and modelling the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
- Providing evidence-based feedback to teaching staff to inform their effectiveness and development.
- Providing expert advice about the content, processes and strategies that will shape individual and school skilled learning.
