You will be part of an experienced team dedicated to repairing the Tangara fleet at either the Flemington Maintenance Centre or Auburn Maintenance Centre, Sydney.

Key responsibilities

- Inspecting, servicing, overhauling, and repairing systems, equipment, and components on our Tangara Fleet.
- Performing inspections, maintenance, overhauls, fault finding, repairs, modifications, upgrades, component changes, and functional testing on the Tangara Fleet train equipment and components.
- Reporting directly to the Maintenance Shift Managers and Team Leaders and collaborating with a team of Rail Maintainers and Engineering support staff.

What you need

- You hold an electrical trade qualification with experience in electrical heavy engineering or maintenance, and you excel in fault finding, communication, and lateral thinking.
- You take pride in resolving technical issues and are eager to enhance your skills through additional training.
- You demonstrate robust organizational and prioritization abilities, flexibility, resourcefulness, and initiative.
