State Theatre Company South Australia - the state’s flagship theatre company - is looking for an organised, enthusiastic and people-focused Development and Events Coordinator to join our team.

You’ll play an important role in helping us look after our donors, partners and supporters, while delivering the events and experiences that bring them closer to the work we create.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Development and working closely with the Development team, you’ll help coordinate donor functions, VIP hosting, corporate partner events and opening nights, while supporting the day-to-day administration that keeps our development program running smoothly.

You’ll bring:

- 1–3 years’ experience in events, administration, logistics or customer service, ideally within the arts,



cultural or not-for-profit sector
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confidence coordinating events, suppliers, RSVPs and hospitality
- Strong computer skills and experience working with databases or CRM systems; Tessitura experience would be an advantage
- A friendly, qualified approach and confidence working with a wide range of people
- An interest in building meaningful relationships with donors, partners and supporters.

Employment: Part-time, 0.8 FTE

Contract: Initial fixed-term contract of one year

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 p.a. pro rata at 0.8 FTE
