You will be working in conjunction with and under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer and Pathology Program Manager to Provide oversight, operational management, leadership and development in the delivery of Pathology services to Barwon Health.

Key responsibilities

- Provide oversight, operational management, leadership and development in the delivery of Pathology services to Barwon Health.
- Coordinate the development, review and implementation of clinical guidelines and procedures located on Clinical Practice on the document control system.
- Ensure documented processes and procedures include multidisciplinary consultation and are evidence based with a strong focus on consumer centred care.
- Ensure accurate,



timely completion of work in line with Barwon Health policies, while maintaining regular communication with the Pathology Program Manager.

What you need

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) or relevant tertiary qualification in science, biomedical science, or medical laboratory science.
- Demonstrated clinical excellence with extensive experience in the clinical setting.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in rapid-paced environments and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
