This is a newly created Workshop Manager role to support both the setup and ongoing operation of a site located in Yatala, Queensland.

Taking ownership of the new site, you'll be responsible for the overall site including management and coordination of operational activities, booking and coordinating transport and the fulfillment and movement of orders and materials.

You'll bring a solid operational mindset, confidently navigating day-to-day challenges, setting clear priorities and enable a high performing operation.

Key responsibilities:

- Leading, coaching and developing your team to deliver exceptional customer and operational outcomes.
- Manage the daily work of the site, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in an organised manner.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of stock and orders.
- Coordinate loading, unloading and freight booking with couriers and transport providers.
- Lead safety and quality standards whilst ensuring compliance with health and safety.




- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
- Manage site budgets and resources effectively to optimise costs.

What you'll need:

- Leadership experience within an operational, industrial, workshop or similar environment
- A strong operational mindset with the ability to priortise, organise and manage competing demands
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP / business management systems
