We are entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation and are seeking an experienced General Manager – Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across our service portfolio.

n

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this is a senior leadership position with genuine influence across operational performance, customer outcomes, workforce capability, financial sustainability and business growth.

n

The Opportunity

n

As General Manager – Operations, you will take overall accountability for operational performance across an assigned portfolio, working closely with Operations Managers and senior leaders to deliver safe, high-quality and commercially sustainable services.

n

You will be responsible for turning strategy into execution – driving performance, strengthening operational capability, improving systems and processes, and leading initiatives that support the continued growth of People First Healthcare.

n

Your Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across an assigned regional and service portfolio
n
- Lead, develop and support Operations Managers and their leadership teams
n
- Drive performance against operational, customer, workforce, quality and financial KPIs
n
- Maintain accountability for budgets, financial performance and sustainable growth
n
- Improve workforce productivity, utilisation, capacity and service efficiency
n
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve service delivery, margins and operational performance
n
- Lead strategic projects, transformation programs and operational change from scope through to execution
n
- Strengthen operating models, systems, processes and accountability frameworks
n
- Ensure services are delivered safely and in accordance with regulatory, funding and contractual requirements
n
- Monitor customer experience and service outcomes, using data to drive continuous improvement
n




- Build strong relationships with customers, government stakeholders, community partners and sector networks
n
- Work closely with Finance, HR, Workforce, Compliance to deliver organisation-wide outcomes
n
- Develop high-performing leadership teams and embed a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement
n
- Provide regular operational reporting, insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team
n

About You

n

You are an experienced senior operational leader who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on execution level.

n

You understand that successful operations are built through strong people leadership, disciplined performance management, commercial thinking and a relentless focus on customer outcomes. You will ideally bring:

n

n
- Senior operational or executive leadership experience within aged care, home care, healthcare, NDIS, community services or another complex regulated service environment
n
- Experience leading multi-site or geographically dispersed operations
n
- A strong track record managing operational performance, workforce productivity and service delivery
n
- Experience managing significant budgets and financial targets
n
- Demonstrated capability in business transformation, operational improvement and organisational change
n
- Experience leading and developing senior managers and high-performing leadership teams
n
- Solid commercial acumen and the ability to translate operational activity into measurable business outcomes
n
- Strong understanding of governance, quality, compliance and regulatory obligations
n
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and work collaboratively across multiple functions
n
- A data-driven and commercially minded approach to decision-making
n
- Exceptional communication,



stakeholder management and problem-solving capability
