We are seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join the team at Forty Winks Kawana. This is a part-time position based in Minyama, QLD 4575. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be a key member of our customer-facing team, playing an essential role in delivering exceptional service and driving sales within our retail environment. You will be responsible for assisting customers with product selection, processing transactions, and maintaining store standards to ensure a welcoming shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance throughout their shopping experience
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
- Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing retail environment
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are well-presented and readily accessible
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve any concerns professionally and courteously
- Assist with inventory management and stock checks as required
- Support promotional activities and special events within the store
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing priorities




- Basic numeracy skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems (training will be provided)
- Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekend work
- A neat personal appearance and professional demeanour
- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential; we are happy to train motivated candidates
