Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is currently seeking an experiencedRetail Assistant to join our team!
In this customer-facing role, you’ll help create a welcoming experience for visitors across our sanctuary gift shops, experience hut and entrance as required.
As a Retail Assistant, you’ll greet guests, answer questions, help them choose the perfect souvenir and process purchases. You’ll also keep our retail spaces tidy, organised and well stocked, support monthly stocktakes and stock transfers, and prepare online orders for posting.
Your day will include operating our POS and EFTPOS systems, handling cash accurately and supporting your teammates to deliver helpful, efficient service, even during our busiest periods.
This role suits someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and an eye for detail, who enjoys meeting people and working in a fast-paced workplace. At least two years’ experience in retail and/or tourism is preferred, but not essential.
