Are you an experienced embedded firmware engineer who enjoys taking products to production?
n We're partnering with a well-established Australian technology company that has built a strong reputation for designing and delivering innovative connected products.
n Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their Sydney-based engineering team.
n This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept and architecture through development, testing, manufacturing, and ongoing product support.
n You'll work on modern embedded systems, IoT-connected devices, and next-generation products that make a real impact.
n What we're looking for:

n

n
- 8+ years' commercial experience developing embedded firmware
n
- Proven experience delivering embedded products from concept through to production
n
- Robust embedded C/C++ programming skills
n
- Experience developing low-level drivers and embedded communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C)
n
- Experience rapidly developing prototypes and MVPs using Arduino
n




- Experience working with 32-bit microcontrollers including STM32, PIC32 or ESP32
n
- Experience with IoT connectivity technologies including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and cellular communications
n

Desirable skills: nn
- Experience developing firmware within RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS
n
- Experience creating embedded graphical user interfaces using tools such as LVGL, MGS or TouchGFX
n
- Experience developing firmware for system-level and PCBA production test systems
n
- Exposure to desktop or mobile software development (iOS, Android or Windows)
