Our client is a leading engineering and metal fabrication business seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join their team based in Carole Park. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for ongoing work, great hourly rates, and a supportive workshop setting.

About the Role

Working within a busy fabrication workshop, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality handrails, balustrades, stair rails, and associated architectural metalwork. The successful candidate will have strong fabrication skills and be confident reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication of and welding of handrails

Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and specifications

Measuring, cutting, drilling,



and assembling components

MIG and TIG welding as required

Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Ensuring all work meets quality standards

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

Skills & Experience

Previous experience fabricating handrails, balustrades, stair rails, or architectural metalwork.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

MIG and/or TIG welding experience.

Experience using hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable transport and excellent work ethic.
