Assembly Worker

n

Join a family-owned manufacturer producing high-quality aluminium and steel transport equipment. This hands-on role involves building tray bodies and components in a safe, team-focused workplace with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

n

n
- Assemble aluminium and galvanised steel trays and accessories, including custom builds, following job cards,



processes, and time targets.
n
- Complete quality checks and paperwork to ensure all trays meet specifications and quality standards.
n
- Build tray components ahead of schedule to keep production running smoothly.
n
- Cut and prepare aluminium materials accurately to prevent production delays.
n
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and ready for client visits.
n
- Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and report hazards or incidents.
n
- Work well with the team, follow instructions, act professionally, and support continuous improvement.
n

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

n

n
- Experience in aluminium fabrication, tray building, or similar assembly work (preferred).
n
- Experience in the motor vehicle or automotive accessory industry (preferred).
n
- Ability to read and interpret job cards, job sheets, and measurements.
n
- Competent use and care of hand tools and power tools.
n
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
n
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
n
