Dealership Heavy Vehicle Auto Electrician

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles.
- Install and upgrade electrical components, including lighting, GPS, communication, and entertainment systems.
- Conduct electrical inspections and testing to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with the Service team to prioritise and complete electrical repairs within designated timeframes.
- Keep accurate records of electrical work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in automotive electrical systems and technologies.
- Adhere to dealership policies and safety standards while ensuring high quality.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, preferably in the commercial truck industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills,



with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accurate and thorough electrical inspections and repairs.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and customers.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a National Police Check.
