About the role

Greater Dandenong City Council is seeking an experienced andvalues-driven leader to join our Community Care Team as Coordinator In-HomeSupport. This is an opportunity to lead a diverse and growing service thatsupports older people, people with disability and carers to maintain theirindependence, wellbeing and connection to the community. Reporting to theManager Community Care, you will provide strategic and operational leadershipacross Council's In-Home Support services, leading a team of experienced professionalsand driving high-quality, person-centred outcomes for our community.

- Leadingthe day-to-day delivery of In-Home Support services.
- Managingservice performance, quality, compliance and continuous improvementactivities.
- Leadingand supporting Team Leaders and administration staff.
- Developingservice plans, budgets and operational priorities.
- Identifyingopportunities for service innovation, growth and sustainability.
- Buildingstrong partnerships across Council, government agencies and communityorganisations.
- Ensuringservices meet legislative,



funding and quality requirements.
- Supportingthe organisation's response to aged care reforms and evolving communityneeds.

This role combines strategic thinking with operational leadership and isideal for someone passionate about community wellbeing and quality servicedelivery.

About you

To be successful in this role,you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the following:

- Strongknowledge of aged care, disability and community care services.
- Experienceleading multidisciplinary teams in a community or health environment.
- Acommitment to person-centred practice and positive client outcomes.
- Experiencemanaging budgets, resources and operational performance.
- Strongstakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills.
- Theability to lead change, drive improvement and influence outcomes.
- Excellentcommunication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Understandingof quality, risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing,Allied Health, Social Work or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in agedcare, community care or human services.
- Current Victorian Driver Licence.
- Current Working with ChildrenCheck (Employee).
- Current Police Check, orwillingness to obtain one.
