THE POSITION

- Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students
n
- Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
n
- Monitor stock and minimize wastage
n
- Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
n
- Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
n
- Parking available on site
n

THE PERSON

n

n
- Minimum of Certificate III Commercial Cookery
n
- Experience as a qualified chef
n
- Be motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
n




- Solid knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality
n
- Prep and cook items from our diverse menus and daily specials, maintaining exceptional standards
n
- Ability to work within budget
n
- Manage food costs through portion control, waste reduction, and stock control
n
- Build solid relationships with both internal and external customers
n
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
n
- Champion allergy awareness and ensure all safety controls are followed
n
