Pay Rate : $35.25 + Super

We are currently recruiting Parks & Gardens Labourers / Crew Members for our client.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking candidates with experience in parks and gardens, horticulture, landscaping or similar outdoor environments. Experienced candidates without formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.

The role will involve working as part of a team to maintain parks, gardens and open spaces to a high standard for the local community.

Parks & Gardens Labourers - Rookwood - Immediate Start

What you'll be doing

- General parks and gardens maintenance
- Mowing, edging and whipper snipping
- Weeding and garden maintenance
- Operating mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers and other small plant
- General labouring and minor works
- Driving work vehicles where appropriately licensed
- Using mobile devices to receive and record daily work




- Completing daily checks and following safe work procedures

What we're looking for

- Previous parks & gardens, horticulture, landscaping or similar experience
- Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent experience highly regarded but not essential
- Current C Class Driver's Licence – essential
- MR/HR Licence – highly regarded
- Experience using parks equipment and small plant
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking outdoor labouring duties
- Comfortable using mobile devices such as iPads
- Reliable, safety focused and a valuable team player

Pre-employment requirements

2 x Employment References. Successful candidates may also be selected for drug and alcohol screening during their assignment.
