The role will involve the provision of strategic industrial relations advice, advocacy and representation services, and engagement with senior stakeholders across government.
Key responsibilities
- The successful applicant will provide advice and representation in relation to a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters, including complex industrial disputes such as disciplinary matters, unfair dismissals, entitlement claims, enterprise bargaining matters and other proceedings before the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission and other courts and tribunals.
What you need
- a thorough understanding of employment law and management of industrial relations.
- relevant experience as a legal representative before courts and tribunals.
- experience in giving timely, strategic and legal advice in respect of employment law and managing industrial relations.
