Accredited Practitioner in Fire Safety (APFS)

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑driven Accredited Practitioner in Fire Safety to carry out inspections, testing, and certification of essential fire safety measures in accordance with NSW legislation. You will work closely with our electrical team to deliver reliable, compliant, and professional fire safety services to strata, commercial, residential, and building management clients.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct inspections, testing, and assessment of essential fire safety measures
- Issue Fire Safety Certificates (FSC) and Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS)
- Complete compliance documentation and reporting to NSW standards
- Liaise with building managers, strata companies, and clients
- Provide expert advice on fire safety upgrades and rectification works
- Work collaboratively with the 56 Electrical team on integrated electrical and fire safety projects

About you

- Accredited Practitioner in Fire Safety (APFS) under the NSW Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme




- Strong understanding of NSW fire safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with AFSS preparation, inspections, and certification
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Current driver's licence
