Following the recent opening of our new East Melbourne practice , YARRA Radiology is expanding our ultrasound team and seeking Sonographers to join us across our South Yarra and East Melbourne locations.

We are a privately owned specialist diagnostic imaging practice committed to clinical excellence, patient-centred care and providing our clinicians with the environment and support to perform at their best.

At YARRA Radiology, quality is prioritised over volume. Our Sonographers are supported by extended scan times, full-time on-site Radiologists, dedicated nursing support and an experienced multidisciplinary team. We welcome applications from Sonographers with one or more years' post-qualification experience , with immediate opportunities available across permanent, part-time, casual, contract and locum arrangements.

Full-Time On-Site Radiologists

Our Radiologists are on site full time, providing direct access to specialist medical expertise when required.

This enables timely clinical discussion and collaborative decision-making and provides an important level of support for complex examinations and interventional procedures.

Dedicated Nursing Support

Our clinical model includes full-time nursing support to assist with procedures and patient care.

This provides an additional level of clinical support and allows our Sonographers to remain focused on their core sonography responsibilities.

Our Sonographers work closely with our Radiologists, Lead Sonographer, nurses,

Clinical Scope

Our Sonographers have the opportunity to work across a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations and procedures, including:





General | Women's Health | Obstetric | Breast | Musculoskeletal | Paediatric | Vascular | Interventional Procedures.

You will work closely with our Radiologists and wider multidisciplinary team, managing a varied caseload while maintaining a strong focus on diagnostic accuracy, clinical reasoning and patient experience.

About You

We welcome applications from Sonographers at different stages of their careers.

You may be an experienced Sonographer seeking a different clinical environment, or earlier in your career and looking for an prospect to further develop your skills within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

What matters to us is your commitment to high-quality imaging, continued professional development, teamwork and exceptional patient care.

You will ideally have:

- One or more years' post-qualification experience as a Sonographer
- Current ASAR accreditation
- Experience across a range of ultrasound examinations
- Strong clinical reasoning and attention to diagnostic quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to patient-centred care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
