Key responsibilities

- As a member of the Criminal Proceeds Squad, you will work closely with police investigators to interpret financial documents, records and business structures and present financial analysis as an expert witness in court, on matters relating to confiscation proceedings within Victoria, and prepare and present financial analysis supporting recent unexplained wealth legislation under the Confiscation Act 1997.
- Assisting police to understand complex financial arrangements on matters relating to the illicit tobacco market.
- Providing advice on financial avenues of enquiry and sources of information.
- Providing advice to police on business structures, financial arrangements, taxation, and accounting matters.

What you need

- Experience in managing multiple matters that may have competing and occasionally urgent deadlines.
- To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
