n We're looking for an experienced and technically exceptional Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative new products. Reporting into the R&D; team, you'll take ownership of complex engineering projects from concept through to production release, while providing technical guidance and mentorship to Design Engineers across the business.
What you'll be doing

- Lead complex product development projects from concept to production release.
n
- Create detailed, manufacturable designs and engineering documentation using SolidWorks.
n
- Apply DFM, DFS and sustainability principles throughout the design process.
n
- Lead prototyping, testing and validation to ensure performance, quality and reliability.
n
- Drive design reviews and DFMEA activities to identify and mitigate risks.
n
- Ensure designs meet global compliance, certification and regulatory requirements.
n
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, compliance and project teams.
n
- Mentor Design Engineers and provide technical leadership across the NPD team.
n
- Drive continuous improvement in product performance,



reliability and engineering standards.

About you n
n

n
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering or a related discipline.
n
- Extensive product design and development experience in a manufacturing environment.
n
- Advanced SolidWorks skills, including complex assemblies and technical documentation.
n
- Strong knowledge of prototyping, testing, validation and DFMEA methodologies.
n
- Experience designing for manufacture, compliance and certification.
n
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence cross-functional teams.
n
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and improvement.
n
- Passion for mentoring and developing engineering capability.
