Ambrose® is a not-for-profit social enterprise providing Early Years Learning and School Age Care services. With a team of 550 employees and growing, we currently operate over 50 school age care and early years education services across Catholic schools in the Greater Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains region.

Description

Working in our Early Education team you will be able to inspire lifelong learning in children through our Ambrose Foundations Pre-Kindergarten Program. Each day at Ambrose is thoughtfully designed to balance intentional learning, inquiry, play, wellbeing and connection. Children experience structured routines that support confidence, independence and a sense of security, while still allowing flexibility for curiosity, creativity and exploration.

Working in our Early Education team you will be able to inspire and empower students through engaging lessons and personalised support. Make a difference in young lives by fostering a love for learning and cultivating essential skills for success.

Responsibilities:

- Developing strong relationships with children at the service
- Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families and the community
- Implementing the policies and associated procedures of the organisation at all times
- Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations.

Skills And Experiences

Qualifications

- Current Working with Children Check
- Valid Child Safety Training Certification (National child safety training - Department of Education, Australian Government)
- First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis Certification

Experience





- No previous experience is required – full training and support will be provided.
- A genuine interest in working with children and pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to completing a Certificate III qualification.
- A passion for supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
