Join the Games Infrastructure (Venues and Villages) division as a Senior Project Officer, Portfolio Coordination Office (AO6) and help support delivery of Queensland’s Brisbane 2032 Infrastructure legacy. Using your strengths in critical thinking, governance, stakeholder engagement and strategic communication, you will contribute to portfolio reporting, assurance and governance activities across a complex infrastructure program.
You’ll coordinate with government agencies, Games delivery partners and Brisbane 2032, support the development of portfolio controls and reporting frameworks, prepare high-quality briefings and strategic advice and help ensure projects are delivered in line with the Queensland Government’s 2032 Delivery Plan. This role is ideal for a collaborative professional who enjoys working across complex programs to drive quality outcomes and informed decision-making.

Your Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the centre of one of Queensland's most significant infrastructure programs. You will support the development and implementation of portfolio governance, assurance and reporting frameworks that help ensure the Queensland Government's commitments under the 2032 Delivery Plan are delivered effectively. Working across government, Games delivery partners and Brisbane 2032, you will help drive best-practice approaches to governance, controls, reporting and project oversight.

As a member of the Portfolio Coordination Office, you will provide a range of portfolio management, reporting and business support services that contribute to informed decision-making and successful program outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Support portfolio management coordination and reporting across the Games Infrastructure delivery program.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of governance, assurance and portfolio control frameworks that support delivery of the 2032 Delivery Plan.
• Coordinate with government agencies, Games delivery partners and Brisbane 2032 to support alignment of governance arrangements, quality controls and project outcomes.
• Prepare high-quality briefing materials, meeting packs, reports, submissions and strategic advice for senior leadership and government stakeholders.
• Support technical program teams through business functions such as procurement, budget management, risk oversight and portfolio reporting.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders across government, industry and sporting organisations.
• Represent the division at departmental, interdepartmental and interagency meetings and forums as required.
