The Role
The Cost Assurance Officer will undertake cost analysis and assurance activities in support of sustaining world class Aerospace Surveillance and Response capabilities.

Responsibilities will include:

- Continual upgrading Surveillance and Response Systems Program Office's (SRSPO) cost models to provide accurate and effective data to best inform our decision-makers and other stakeholders.
- Measuring, analysing, interpreting, assessing and communicating on cost data provided under commercial arrangements with our Industry Partners.
- Supporting the Cost Assurance Manager in planning, developing, processing, and presenting the Financial Plan and Sustainment Assessment Review (SAR) process on an annual basis and with monthly reviews of in year budgets.
- Support cost management and payment activities related to the US Navy’s provision of sustainment services through the Cooperative Program, including participation in regular forums with the US Navy and biannual Performance Management Reviews.
- Providing specialist costing advice on tenders or contracts and supporting procurement activities.

SRSPO ensures the availability and performance of highly complex surveillance and response airborne and related systems for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) – including the P-8A Poseidon and MQ-4C Triton aircraft systems. At SRSPO we are passionate about working collaboratively with our stakeholders and industry partners to ensure the necessary acquisition,



sustainment and regulatory requirements are fulfilled. We do this to support the warfighter and achieve the Department of Defence’s strategic and operational objectives.

The position is a member of SRSPO's Cost Assurance Management team based at RAAF Edinburgh, SA.

SRSPO operates in an integrated workplace comprising ADF, APS and contracted personnel and is committed to flexible and inclusive work practices.
